Adele Beryl Davidson

Adele Beryl (Vickers) Davidson, 81, a resident of Saucony Meadows Senior Community, Kutztown, formerly of White Haven, Luzerne County and Radnor Township, Delaware County, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of Thomas E. Davidson, whom she married May 24, 1952.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Ida Mae (Mudd) Vickers. Mrs. Davidson was a 1951 graduate of Newtown Square High School, Delaware County. She was employed as an Executive Assistant by the former Wyeth Pharmaceutical Company, Delaware County, for 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Radnor Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Delaware County.

She is survived by Husband of 63 years, Tom; 3 Children, Virginia L. (Davidson), wife of Carl Predmore, Marathon, NY, Timothy E., husband of Nancy (Lodge) Davidson, Ormond Beach, FL, Theodore E. Davidson, East Norriton, Montgomery Co.; Sister, Joan (Vickers) Guilday, Tallahassee, FL; Brother, George, husband of Paula (Brockway) Vickers, King of Prussia. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Adele was predeceased by 2 Sons, Thomas E. Davidson, Jr.; and Ellis Davidson, who died in infancy; and a Sister, Ivy (Vickers) Haney.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend Rebecca A. Cancelliere, Ascend Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
